About Us
Originally inspired by American kettle corn, Jonny’s Popcorn has the distinctive flavour of traditionally kettle popped corn. Cooked in food trucks since 2008 and available in stores since 2011, there’s nothing else quite like it in Australia. The original slightly sweet, slightly salty popcorn with a perfect crisp pop, has grown into a range of classic and new flavours.
We’ve modernised our production facilities over the years with custom built facilities to deliver that same great flavour. Whether you get it pre-made at our Adelaide factory or from a mobile van at various locations you will love the fresh crunch and complex flavours from the unique cooking process.
Look for us on store shelves at your favourite supermarkets and fresh food outlets across Australia. If they don’t have it then ask! We’re shipping an Australian product, made from Australian produce, right here in Adelaide.
With a fleet of vans available for events and pop-up sites across Adelaide, you can come and see it being made. Smell the fresh popcorn flavour and enjoy our carnival inspired crunchy snack.

Caramel: Our iconic taste (and smell!), Caramel has a sweet, rich, crunchy shell that's created by the sugar caramelizing during cooking, using our traditional cookers.
Caramel is vegan, halal suitable, and contains no gluten or nuts.

Sweet & Salty: The classic Carnival Corn that we fell in love with during our tour of the USA. This popcorn is sweet, light and crunchy with just enough salt to balance the flavour. Don’t open it alone, you won’t be able to stop!

Our small boxes are made of compostable plastic so can be put in the green bin, and large boxes are recyclable. Small and large bags should go in your red/blue landfill bin.

Our products are 100% Australian owned, made in Adelaide at our factory in Hindmarsh. Our ingredients are sourced from around Australia.
Our wholegrain popcorn has more fibre (~7g per 100g) than a lot of other snack foods like crackers, chips, and biscuits, making it a healthy snack kids and adults can enjoy as part of a balanced diet.
